Perceptions of extreme heat as a hazard to healthcare systems
The objective of this study is to understand how extreme heat is perceived and experienced by healthcare staff. The study will explore how these perceptions and experiences differ between healthcare systems, seeking to understand the drivers of risk perception. Finally, the study intends to explore any gaps between perceived reality and objective reality through comparing responses between healthcare systems who frequently experience extreme heat, and those who experience it less frequently.
